Return Policy, effective 1/1/2011
Our goal is for you to be so satisfied with products purchased from Karen’s Botanicals that you cannot wait to place another order. And while we love huge orders of products by new customers, we offer sample sizes and sets of almost every product at very affordable prices. We encourage you to try these before making large purchases, especially in skin care products and/or if you have highly sensitive skin. By trying samples first and avoiding the return of products, we can work together to reduce both the costs of unnecessary shipping and its attendant carbon emissions.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Karen’s Botanicals, please contact us within 15 days of the receipt of your purchase with your order number. Please contact us at karensbotanicals@gmail.com or call us at 678-463-6811 to authorize the return. Packages must be properly wrapped and returned using the same shipping service with which they were sent (normally, USPS Priority Mail).
We will issue you a full refund, credit or exchange, less shipping charges. We are sorry but Samples and Sample Sets, and Professional/Bulk sizes are not refundable (32 oz. Lotions, 4 oz. Serums, Oils larger than 4 oz, and Peppermint Pimple Zapper 2 and 4 oz. sizes) unless there is a mistake on our part.
General Shipping Information
We wish shipping could be less expensive, but costs are rising all the time. We now charge only what the cost is; we add no extra charge for handling. Our standard shipping is US Postal Service Priority Mail. This continues to be the most reliable and cost effective service available.While UPS and FedX are occasionally less expensive, they do not offer the fast transit time required for shipping of natural products. First Class Mail does not offer tracking, and is avaiable only for small packages weighing 13 ounces or less. We do our very best to reduce wasteful packaging while still insuring that your package arrives in perfect condition, protected from temperature extremes of heat and cold.
We normally ship Monday, Wednesday and Friday. During summer months, we may ship only 2x weekly. Most domestic orders arrive within 3-4 business days. However, it can take up to a week, depending on timing and distance. If you require a guaranteed delivery date, please select Express Mail as your option. IF SHIPPING TO WORKPLACE OR NON-RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS, BE SURE IT IS OPEN TO ACCEPT MAIL ON SATURDAYS
*Shipping for Samples and some small items: We can usually send samples and some small items in a First Class cushioned mailer which saves money and uses less packaging (but has no tracking). If you would like this, you must request it in the comments box in shopping cart, or via email or telephone.
*We choose US Priority Mail because it is fast and extremely reliable and comes with tracking. With US Priority Mail, it is almost impossiblel to lose a package unless it is stolen from the place of delivery or the address provided is incorrect. However, we do not refund for damaged, stolen, or lost packages unless you have purchased insurance. If you would like insurance, please contact us; it is not expensive.
*If we have made a shipping error, we will correct it immediately at no charge. However, if the customer has made an error, then the customer is responsible for additional shipping charges. Please double check that you have entered an accurate, complete address when you place an order.
*LOCAL ORDERS: Local delivery is available as a free, complimentary service. For local customers to avoid a shipping charge, please place your order offline via email or telephone.
International Orders: Please read general information above. International Orders can be placed via the website, telephone or email. They are shipped via US Postal Service Priority Mail International. This gives you a tracking number and 6-10 days in transit. We generally avoid First Class as it can be unreliable to some countries and has no tracking. Therefore, if it is lost, there is NO REFUND. However, we will provide quotes on First Class upon request. For large, heavy orders we may be able to give you a better price using UPS or FedX International. Please contact us for these prices.
*All Duty and/or Import Taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Please check and know the laws in your home country and provide with any relevant information or required paperwork. Canadian Customers: All products are made in USA, so you should not be required to pay duty tax.
Payment Methods
There are 3 ways to pay once you get to Checkout. 1) You may enter credit card information on our secure site. 2) You may make secure payments via PayPal. 3) You may make an offline payment which allows you to pay by check or credit card without entering information online. Using this method, we will contact you to obtain credit card information via telephone. Orders can also be placed by telephone or email using any payment method.
