Natural and Organic Facial Care
A
wholistic approach to facial care is based on a
three-step process, of cleansing, toning, and
moisturizing. You can select products depending on your
skin type, seasonal and climatic changes, and daily or
personal cycles. Some people use a particular set of 123
products all of the time. Other people find that their
skin changes and therefore mix and match sets to suit
their needs. You may choose the set of products that is
best for you. You will save 10% if you buy a set

Why use a toner?
While
you may naturally use cleansers and moisturizers for
facial care, you may not ever have used a toner. I grew
up using one because my mother always did. Toners have
astringent properties, which means that they contract
skin tissue and check secretions. Most toners contain
some type of alcohol which deep-cleans pores by breaking
down oils and residue.
Our
toners are really special. First, they are very low in
alcohol so they are much less harsh than others.
Secondly, they are made by infusing loads of fresh,
organic herbs and flower blossoms in a combination of
witch hazel and distilled water. So, Karen’s Botanicals
toners are full of vitamins, minerals, and other
nourishing compounds that, in addition to deep cleaning,
are beneficial to your skin.
What about our scents?
All of the scents in our products come from the natural
scent of the plants and botanical ingredients (such as
essential oils) that we use. They are chosen for their
therapeutic value more so than for their scent. So,
instead of having a line of cleansers, toners and creams
all with the same scent, the scent of our products is
based on the essential oils which are most beneficial to
skin care.

Enriching Rosehip Eye Cream
Enriching Rosehip Eye Cream is our richest and most concentrated moisturizer and our best treatment for wrinkles and mature skin. Heavier than the Facial Creams below, it is formulated to rejuvenate and nourish mature facial skin especially around the eyes and corners of the mouth. Luxurious specialty oils such as organic Rosehip Seed, and organic Cocoa Butter promote healing of skin tissue and treatment of wrinkles. Borage Seed and Evening Primrose Oils are full of gamma linolenic acid, which promote smooth, healthy skin.
Enriching Rosehip Eye Cream is enhanced with Sea Buckthorn and Rosehip seed oils, which are well known for their restorative properties on damaged skin. Sea Buckthorn Oil is traditionally used in the Mediterranean to treat burns. It is an excellent treatment during radiation therapy.

borage seed and blue chamomile, it is deeply nourishing but non- greasy, and it absorbs

Lavender Facial Cream, spf15
Lavender Facial Cream spf 15, is a lighter and more specialized version of
our Lovely Lavender Cream spf, 15. It is formulated specifically as a daily
moisturizing sunblocking cream for the face. With concentrated and organic
precious oils such as jojoba, evening primrose, borage seed and blue chamomile,
it is nourishing but non- greasy, and it absorbs quickly. It is an excellent
moisturizer for any skin type, especially for mature and sensitive skin. Made with 12.5% natural zinc oxide for blocking UVA and UVB sunrays. Unlike synthetic sunscreens, it contains no chemical UV-absorbers, chemical preservatives, titanium dioxide, or parabens.

Cooling Green Tea Facial Serum
Green Tea Serum is a light, liquid blend of aloe vera, green tea extract and precious plant oils formulated to cool and soothe inflammatory conditions such as Rosacea or red, irritated skin. It is one of our most popular products and is highly rated for effectiveness on the rosaceagroup.org. It works well for any skin type, especially for sensitive skin. Use as a light daily moisturizer, or for treatment during flare up. This product absorbs quickly and easily into the skin and can be used during day or night. Rejuvenating Facial Serum with Ester C
Rejuvenating Facial Serum is a light, non-greasy formula
