The original Triple Goddess emerged in 1993 when I found myself without a potter's wheel and began making sculpture from drawings of seedpods. Her ancient form and benevolent, joyous spirit have influenced much of my work since then.
Images at top of page were made between June and December, 2008, for my show, The Goddess Revisited. Images of the original Triple Goddess forms can be found below. These pieces are made from a raku clay body bisque fired to 1860 degrees. After bisque firing, they are glazed and/or smoke fired. They are 18-36 inches in height. Price range: $1000 to $2500.
