Queen of Hungary's Water for Sensitive Skin
This toner does everything. It is a skin toner, hair rinse, sunburn remedy, and more. Queen of Hungary's Water is all-purpose, ph balancing cosmetic lotion, which is safe to use if you have sensitive skin. Use as an astringent facial toner for all skin types, use as a hair rinse, that will make your hair shine like never before, and skin conditioner. The secret to this toner works by restoring the natural acidity to the skin; Queen of Hungary contains acetic acid, a naturally occurring chemical found in aspirin. Skin balancing ph will restore and calm skin from symptoms such as dryness, itching, flaking, redness, or swollen and hot skin. Outbreaks are improved when using this product on a regular basis.
Karen learned to make this product with her family in Eastern Slovakia, where she found jars filled with organic vinegar and brightly colored fresh flower blossoms, and herbs; where they were then allowed to warm while absorbing the energy of the sun.
How To Use:
Use as a facial toner:
Apply, Queen of Hungary's Water, in a small amount, onto a cotton ball or cotton square, then sweep across the skin in an upwardly direction.
Use for Sunburn Relief:
Use as a repair for sunburned skin. Apply directly to the skin through a mister or gently pat very moist cotton squares to the surface of the skin.
Attach a spray-mister to the toner bottle, spray directly onto a freshly cleaned skin. Use twice a day as part of a healthy skin program.
To use as a hair rinse, massage 1-2 ounces into damp scalp and hair after washing. It's best to leave in the hair, but it can be rinsed out after 5-10 minutes. The toner's odor will disappear within moments of hair drying.

I have used this several times now since receiving it and I must say that it's pretty handy and very versatile, which I love, especially since I own SO many skincare products! I often use it in the morning to quickly freshen and de-slick my face and neck before running my son to school because I rarely have time for anything more.
It does a great job and leaves my skin surprisingly soft! It does have a bit of a pungent smell from the vinegar but it does not linger long at all. I have also used this to cleanse and balance my scalp during these crazy NC winter months where the temp keeps going up and down. It does the trick on ridding the scalp of any issues whether it's flakes or buildup. I also mix it with my clay and powdered face masks and scrubs! I really can't say enough good things about this product; I love it and plan to always have some in my beauty stash!

This is a great product for skin toning/cleansing as well as for use as a hair rinse. My husband already makes up his own apple cider vinegar hair rinse concoction, but this could be used just the same and has lots of good organic herbs in it. I like using it as a toner, but feel that I may have to dilute a bit as it can sometimes sting my sensitive skin and the vinegar smell can be a bit strong for me.
But, the smell dissipates quickly. Also, be aware if you are using non-disposable facial cloths to apply toner and remove makeup (as I am in an attempt to be more green), then this mixture can stain your cloths. I found that my organic cotton rounds that I use to apply toner got dark brown when using this as a toner, and I had to bleach them back out with hydrogen peroxide to remove the stain. Now I just tend to splash a small amount of it on my clean face with my hands instead of discoloring my cloth toner pads. The seller was kind enough to hand write a note in my package and send a free organic healing balm tin that I've used a few times on bumps and sores. It feels soothing and takes the soreness out. What a thoughtful gift. You can tell that the seller cares and pays attention to detail as these handmade products are organic, effective, and quite lovely.

I love using this toner in the summer when it is hot and sticky. It helps keep my aging skin pimple free without being too harsh.
