Returns Policy

If something is wrong, and the product is not what you wanted, or damaged, or broken, please contact us first, before doing anything so that we can determine the best course of action for your situation. You may contact us through an email at, or you can call us at 678-463-6811 to authorize the return. Please leave a message with your full name and phone number, and if not available we will get back with you as soon as possible.

After contacting our office, we ask that your return package be wrapped appropriately to avoid breakage during transport. We also ask that all orders return using the same shipping service with which we initially shipped the item to you. Typically, in the United States that ship-service is the United States Postal Service.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, or replacement product. We will issue a full refund, provide you with a credit or make a full exchange of the item; however, samples, sample sets, and professional/bulk sizes are not refundable. The exception to this rule is if we made a mistake with your order. This policy applies to all of our thirty-two-ounce sizes, and all four-ounce serums and all body oil larger than a four-ounce bottle. Our Peppermint Pimple Zappers are not returnable in the four-ounce size, and the roller-balls are never refundable.

We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error, as an example, you received an incorrect or defective item, but it was the thing you ordered. Mishaps occur in life, and when they do, we will be responsible for our mistakes.

You should expect to receive your refund, at the latest, within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. The four weeks is presented as an outside estimate, and stated here only because we have issued returns and waited for a couple of months to receive the returned items; however, in most situations, you should receive your refund quickly, and it not take the recommended wait time. This period includes the transit time for the postal service to return your item. This time frame usually is five to ten business days. This lull provides time for us to issue your return if it returns over a weekend physically, and the approximate three-days it usually takes your bank to process our refund request. Your bank may have the refunded money, but we have found them to hold the funds for approximately three business days on some, but not all accounts.

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via email of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We want to avoid as many returns as possible, as it works against our goal of reducing carbon emissions. We hope you sample our small sizes before investing in large quantities. To that end, Karen's Botanicals does offer sample sizes and small sets of almost every product at very affordable prices. We encourage you to try these before making large purchases, especially in skin care products, and if you have highly sensitive skin. By trying samples first, you avoid the time and frustration of returning items if you are not happy. We can work together to reduce both the costs of additional shipping and its attendant carbon emissions.
